Because of Thanksgiving Holiday. Bishop Zubik has kindly extended the date for submitting suggestions of names for our new parish. The cut date is December 6, 2021. All submissions must be entered by the end of that day. Also, while many people have been creative by using the name "Blessed Trinity" and "Holy Trinity", one of the newly merged parishes is already called "Blessed Trinity". Therefore, names similar to that cannot be accepted. Please feel free continuing submitting names.
Please participate in the New Parish Naming process by either using the paper form received in the mail or electronically by clicking on the link provided above on our home page called "New Parish Naming Survey". The deadline is November 29, 2021. Thank you for participating!
Please be aware that there are many scammers out in cyberspace who are always looking for ways to prey on your generosity! Please examine critically any solicitations you may receive via text message/email from our clergy or staff team. Our staffs’ email addresses are shown on our website and in the bulletin. Another clue is that our clergy will almost certainly call you for a “personal” favor. Whenever you are uncertain, please call our office to verify the authenticity of such text messages/emails! Never respond to these text messages/emails before knowing 100% to whom you are corresponding!
Our first parish grouping assembly for the Cities of God – St. Ferdinand, St. Gregory and Holy Redeemer – will be held Sunday, November 7 at 12:30 PM at St. Gregory Church. The assembly will be livestreamed and it will be posted from our YouTube channel. This gathering will provide parishioners with an overview of the merger process, a timeline of events, information about the naming process for our new parish, and an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. Everyone is invited to attend this assembly and learn more about the process as WE work together to build OUR new parish community. For those attending in person, additional parking will be available across the road at Glade Run. For those attending through YouTube please click the title of this post or go to Sunday Mass and Daily Reflections.
